AHAHAHA!!! looking at these pics cracks me up. met up with nanz and reks again. we went to TCC at novena. man, i think the ppl there couldn't wait for us to leave! we were (as usual) laughing hysterically and rekha would once in a while let out a squel. look at the pics we took and you will know how upside down everything was. but i like this upside down. HAHA! maybe we should go back and visit st.marg's one day....
oh i met up with the growlers too! erm, we met up to study! hahaha. to think that before A's we were mugging together, and now even after A's when we're all taking different courses we still mug together. well, correction, we weren't exactly mugging. i was doing my dumb lab report which i have no idea how to do. so had to seek luling's help. haha! hmm i think we spent more time walking around looking for a place with wireless connection than studying la! cos worm needs the internet! oh! did i mention that she got a new phone?! everyone was so excited for her! gone is that antique phone of hers, that looks like a home phone! hee. now to teach her how to use bluetooth....

it shall be a tradition that every year we'll celerbrate lynette's birthday at No Signboard Seafood Restaurant! haha. today that was where we had dinner. and im gonna burst! cos i had sakae lunch with my ex soccer mates from SA. so i had lunch and dinner straight through. and both are big meals! die, grow fat! wahaha.
anw, the mini soccer girls gathering consists of qianling, ubri, jannah, deb and me! haha. it's nice to catch up with them, esp now that we all walk different paths. erm, besides me,qian and ubri in NIE. haha. just think about those days when we used to train together, rain or shine, mud, track and sweat. ah, sweet memories.

E-Learning Week....Sianzzzzz......
a few weeks back i thought e-learning week was gonna be just a week of holiday for us. so shiok dun need to travel all the way to boon lay for school. BUT, i take back my words. there's so much to do, it seems like an endless pile of work. argh. im sure everyone else agrees with me. heh. oh wells, no use complaining. just gotta do it.

Whee!!! we had a Growlers outing on saturday!!! when i met them, i realised how long ago we had our last outing together. now that we are no longer classmates, in fact now we're all separated (apart from me and qian who are in NIE), when we meet up we have alot to say to each other.
my goodness, it was a long walk under the hot morning sun before we settled down at TCC, because the place we wanted to go closed down, ad minds cafe wasn't open until 2pm. sheesh.
the purpose of our meeting is to celebrate the birthdays our the twins of Growlers. see how happy they are to pose with their presents. haha!
that's worm with the present i got her. it's the crocodile that will snap shut it's jaws when you press onto a certain tooth! hee. it reminds me of the time me and gillian had our embarrassing moment in action city while playing with a similar toy. her yam pie flying in the air! haha!
as always, our outings are always fun.
oh yes! i got a new laptop at the comex fair! i went with baba. the crowd there was crazy! we spent 2 over hours there, just going around finding the right laptop and the best deal. and of cos, my dear honeypie, being her, always take such a long time just to decide on what to buy. finally we both settled on a Toshiba laptop. hers is heavier than mine but has a better graphic card. haha. we spent our weekend playing with our new toy. hee. the white one is mine, and black one, baba's.
E-learning week. good and bad. good: i dun need to travel all the way to the ulu corner of Singapore!!! bad: got piled with a load of tutorials and assignments to complete. bleh.
so i guess i gotta start working now.

Gelbeans Unite! HAHA!
whoo! had our 2nd gelbeanies outing yesterday. hmm maybe last week's one wasn't official, but still we had a sakae meal with 7 of us. yesterday's strength was 11. erm still less than half the group. but nevertheless we has loads of fun, cooking, eating, laughing and making ppl eat the horrible vege cooked by weixin, by playing zongjimima! oh, we were at this korean bbq place in far east. thank goodness we had a room to ourselves, if not i think we'll be disturbing the rest of the customers. i finally found another person who talks as much and as loudly as my dear honeypie, Baba. HAHA.
we managed to have a rather informal meeting after dinner too. haha, zonglun was so funny, trying to showoff his new hp tablet. he was so proud of it, we all had to go ooohhhhh and ahhhhh to make him feel happy! wahahaha.
it was a productive and efficient meeting. we paid the bill and went our separate ways. i took the nel with chai huat. and did i mention he's weifen's brother??? man, it's such a small world. somehow everyone is connected someway or another. he was telling me all about the PE course. argh, im so envious. i wanna take PE too!!! oh well, im sure God has a reason...
i forsee that the project we will be embarking on will be a fruitful and meaningful one. im sure it'll be an experience that will be etched in memory.
oh by the way, im gonna be late for the next gelbeans outing! im not gonna wait for ppl for 45 mins again! hmph! =P

i had one hectic weekend and hectic week ahead.
im thankful that i dun have any lessons today and tmr! oh what a wonderful thing it is to sleep all the way through the morning! haha.
i was so exhausted by all the workload, not just by school but other commitments as well. dun get me wrong, im not complaining. i enjoy every single thing i do, its just a matter of prioritising and time management. sometimes i wish i can split myself into 2 or more so that i can accomplish more things and not miss out on anything. but God made only one ME with only 2 arms and 2 legs and 1 brain, and only 24 hours in a day! i guess i have to be thankful for that. haha.
one thing about me is that i like to get involved in so many things. i went for touch rugby last week and dance this week. now im in a dilemma cos i can't decide which to join! and the worse thing is, both fall on the same day!sheesh. now see why i wanna split myself into 2? haha. well, i suppose i still have time to decide. haiyoooo....
there's still so much to do!
busy, busy, busy...
amidst all the work, i thank the Lord for constantly reminding that HE is there to guide me and help me through. it is by His strength that im able to get by each day, feeling refreshed and happy, knowing that all that im doing is for His glory.
looking at things in a more positive way makes you a happier person!

HAPPY NATIONAL DAY!!!!
my very nice timetable allows me to have thursdays off. and the first week into lessons, national day has to fall on a thursday. wasted, bleh.
NIE has a very interesting way of celebrating national day this year. it's with the theme: Uniquely Singapore. and they decided to have Project Runway NIE, with models catwalking costumes that are uniquely singapore. sheesh, how unique. haha. and guess what? i was the model for my GESL group! blehhh...how did it go? let's just say im glad i did not trip and fall off the stage. haha.
i think i still need a couple of weeks to swing back into the momentm of schooling. im still in the holiday mood, and it feels kinda weird sitting in lectures and planning for projects. but so far so good. i really thank God for all that He has done for me. im glad to have ppl i know in all the modules i take. it makes lessons more bearable. haha.
school is gonna be fun... right?

GO JACK-JACK GO!!!
hee im back from orientation camp and im starting lessons this monday. wow time really flies. after 8 months of holidaying, it's finally back to school!!!
well, orientation was fun. lost my voice again, cos cheered too much. made lots of frens too! my og and ogls are one great bunch of ppl. our favourite game to pass time is hunter, bear n guru. sheesh, i always get killed when im the poor innocent bear, but never discovered when im the hunter! hahaha. oh we had this fright night, where "ghosts" are supposed to scare the hell out of you. yeah, they did a good job. i was freaked out. but looking back, i can actually laugh at it! the ghosts must be very irritated by us. and we had the amazing race around singapore. ivan had to do a forfeit at LJS! hilarious! i really enjoyed myself during the camp. the last night some of my og pals stayed up to talk to our ogls. i think NIE if different from other unis. how different? hmm, just different. since we're all being groomed to be teachers, there seems to be this sense of purpose to make a difference.
man, i sound like a tecaher already. haha. i think im gonna enjoy school. now i understand why God has put me in NIE =D
heh, i just extracted 4 wisdom teeth on thursday. see the stuff in that bottle? it's me teeth! hahaha. now im suffering from swollen gums. and i have to be on a liquid diet for a week! im soooo hungry...haha. im dying to eat char kuay teow, rojak, mac wings etc. heh. i can't even open my mouth much. ouch. haha. oh wells, i shall stop lamenting over the holes in my mouth. it's an experience after all! no need to extract any more teeth! haha. GOD IS GOOD ALL THE TIME!!!

HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX is niceeeee!!!
besides the fact they left out alot of stuff that was written in the book, Sirius died rather quickly with no sign of being killed at all and Harry Potter (aka Daniel Radcliffe) is short! haha. yeah, he is...its so super obvious when he stands next to Ron and Neville. and oh my, Hermione is gonna be taller than in the next few movies, i think! haha.
but well, i would want the same person the act as Harry Potter rather than they change the fella just because he's short. heh. erm, but i shall not complain about his height, since it's not his fault anw, huh...height is not an issue...hehe.
all the cast looks so super different from the first movie! oooh, they've grown so much! haha.
besides all that, i enjoyed the movie. esp since i watched it with Nanz n Sammie. we realised that we've watched all Harry Potter movies (except the first one) together!!! since we were sec2!!! memories...so it's gonna be a must to watch the next 2 movies with them too!!! haha.
today daddy said smthg which is so true. he said, "if you cannot win souls for Christ, make sure you do not lose them." it's certainly smthg to think about.

gosh, i feel like im a diet.
im losing weight without the intention of losing weight.
all because i want my voice back.
right now, i can't eat spicy or fried food, no chocolates and no cold drinks! oh man...im praying hard that after all these sacrifices my voice will really come back.
for the past one month, i can only mouth words during singspiration, or sing in the bass tone. during choir practice i learn my parts my listening, and it doesn't help when im not musically inclined.
thank God for Gospel Rally this year it'll be mime! so i can be an angel that does not speak. i'll proclaim God's message with my actions with speaks a thousand words. haha. pray that all goes well for all 3 nights, and that many will be touched by the mime and message =D
yepp, prayer works wonders. im praying hard. and prayer comes with obedience and faith. God answers prayers!!!
